  • Innovative cultivation process (which causes significant increase in EK light chain production) is independent of the use of offered expression cassette
  • Enterokinase – serine protease that has highly specific recognition ability – cleaves the bond after the sequence Asp-Asp-Aps-Aps-Lys
  • Light chain is catalytic subunit of Enterokinase. It does include chymotrypsin-like serine proteinase domain

Useful in the production of human enterokinase light chain

Enterokinase is used for remova of fusion proteins and cleavage of tags after purification

Enterokinase is ideally suited for use in biotechnology and biochemistry especially for production of recombinant therapeutic proteins

Advantages over currently used solutions Significant increases in human enterokinase light chain production during the cultivation process of Pichia pastoris

Based on the use of advantageous eukaryotic expression system (Pichia pastoris) and original expression cassette
