Going 100% Organic

What if …a country completely shifted to ORGANIC agriculture? A comprehensive study including metaanalyses and scenario calculations shows such shift would be feasible and associated with substantial economic, ecologic and health benefits. Austria would meet the population´s calorie requirements, produce healthier food, gain healthier soil & water and become independent of animal feed imports. The shift would ensure sustainability of agricultural productivity. The necessary cut-down on meat consumption (10%) or food waste (25%) opens up the opportunity for ecoinnovative products and solutions in the food industry sector.
